Outlook Express setup

Follow this step-by-step process to add your Digital Crocus e-mail address to Outlook Express.

Step 1 Insert the name you wish to appear as, for example John Smith.

Step 2 Enter your Digital Crocus e-mail address.

Step 3 Make sure you have changed the drop down menu to IMAP and set the incoming and outgoing mail servers to mail.digital-crocus.com

Step 4 Insert you Digital Crocus user name and password. It is recommended that you leave the 'remember password' box checked unless you are using a shared computer. If you are setting up a mailbox use the username and password that you set up the mail box with.

After you have completed these steps you will need to enable SMTP Authentication, you can follow these simple steps to do it:

Step 1 Select Accounts from the Tools menu.

Step 2 Select the e-mail account you have just added and click properties.

Step 3 Check the "My server requires authentication" box and finish by clicking Apply followed by OK.
