Digital Crocus e-mail will work with any mail client that supports POP3 or IMAP and SMTP. This is about 99% of clients. POP3 clients can be found for Apple Macs, Unix/Linux machines as well as Windows. There is a choice of literally hundreds.
We provide instructions on setting up the most common clients, but we can't provide instructions for every program. However, if you have read your chosen email client's documentation, it should be easy enough to configure it to send and receive mail from our service given the following details:

You will need to enable SMTP authentication. How you do this depends on your client, but the majority of clients support it somehow; check your client's documentation for more details.
The account details you use to log on will be the same for IMAP4/POP3/SMTP, what these are depends on how you have mail set up. If you have not created any mailboxes, you should just use your standard Digital Crocus username and password. If you are using separate mailboxes with aliases, you should use the login and password you chose for the mailbox you're trying to configure.
Most e-mail clients will require you to enter your e-mail address. For simple mail setups (with just one domain and no separate mailboxes) your e-mail address can be anything@yourdomain.com. If you are using separate mailboxes, you should use one of the e-mail addresses you have aliased to that mailbox. For more details on how this works click here.
Spam is automatically filtered into a folder called 'Spam'. You may need to subscribe to the the Spam folder. Consult your client's documentation on how to do this.
It is worth noting that you may not need all the details given here for your particular client. For example you will either need an IMAP server address or a POP3 server address, not both. Using IMAP is a good idea if you plan to use webmail as well. If you're using POP3, it's a good idea to set your mail client to "leave a copy of messages on the server"; this will allow you to view your e-mail through our webmail system as well as with your client.his should be all you need to know to get your mail client working with our service.
